The Epson DS-870 Workforce Color Duplex Document Scanner is an ultra-fast, reliable, and robust model designed for high-volume workgroups. It offers high-speed scanning up to 65 pages per minute (ppm) or 130 images per minute (ipm) with single-pass duplex scanning, making it ideal for busy environments. It features a 100-page Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) with a peak daily duty cycle of up to 9,000 sheets. The scanner's advanced paper feed technology includes options like Slow Speed Mode, Double-Feed Detection, and Paper Protection to ensure smooth operation with delicate or mixed media.

 

 

Additionally, the DS-870 includes TWAIN and ISIS drivers for easy integration with document management systems and supports both PC and Mac. It is equipped with powerful OCR software for creating searchable PDFs and scanning to cloud storage platforms like Evernote, SharePoint, and Google Drive.
