D-Link DGS-1210 Series Smart Managed Switches are a cost-efficient and flexible network switching solution designed to expand and modernize business networks. This latest-generation series delivers increased Power over Ethernet (PoE) output, a wide range of Gigabit Ethernet and SFP interfaces, multiple management interfaces, and robust advanced Layer 2 and Layer 2+ features.
The DGS-1210 Series supports 8, 24, or 48 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit ports, with an additional 2 or 4 Gigabit RJ45/SFP combo ports for fiber uplinks using multimode or single-mode SFP transceivers. Selected models—including DGS-1210-10P, 10MP, 28P, 28MP, and 52MP—offer IEEE 802.3af/802.3at PoE support, simplifying deployments of IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and other powered devices. The 193W PoE budget allows centralized power delivery and remote control, including time-based PoE scheduling and remote device rebooting.
With Auto Voice VLAN and Surveillance Mode, the switches automatically identify and prioritize VoIP and video traffic, improving QoS, security, and network efficiency. Surveillance Mode detects ONVIF-compatible IP cameras, assigns them to a dedicated surveillance VLAN, and provides a dedicated surveillance management UI, reducing hardware and maintenance costs.
The series includes comprehensive Layer 2 switching features such as IGMP Snooping, VLANs, port mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, and LACP link aggregation, along with L2+ static routing for efficient inter-VLAN communication. Advanced security features—including D-Link Safeguard Engine, 802.1X authentication, RADIUS support, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)—protect the network from flooding attacks and unauthorized access.
